Matkins Auto Glass/National Glass Association

John H. Whitlatch Jr., 62, died Aug. 24, following an extended illness. A native of Petersburg, Va., he was president of North Carolina's Matkins Auto Glass Inc. and past president of the National Glass Association, McLean, Va.

Glass Mechanix

Glass Mechanix, Bend, Ore., announced that Don Gregor has joined its team as sales manager. Gregor began his career in the glass repair and restoration industry 10 years ago as a sales representative for GlasWeld, also of Bend. Prior to that, he built his customer service skills in the life and health insurance industries.

Gregor also founded a glass repair company with his son approximately seven years ago, focusing primarily on scratch removal for both flat and auto glass.
