The basics: The Burbank (Calif.) Community Services Building puts high-performance glazing to the test. The building is certified by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program from the U.S. Green Building Council, and features ample high-performance glass, highlighted most prominently in the light-filled atrium. The building’s flood of natural daylighting minimizes the need for artificial lighting.
