Economy, BIM, certification and more at AAMA in Minneapolis

The American Architectural Manufacturers Association National Summer Conference 2009 kicked off May 31 in Minneapolis. The meeting, hosted by the Schaumburg, Ill.-based association, runs through June 3. About 200 attendees had registered for the meeting as of May 15. 

Rich Walker, AAMA president and CEO, said during the June 1 opening general session that “despite the challenging economy, 24 new members have joined AAMA since February.” The association gained seven new member companies since February.
