Options for bulletin board cases
Los Angeles-based C.R. Laurence Co. introduced several designs for bulletin board cases for interior applications.
“We have created a variety of stock bulletin board cases, and also offer custom bulletin boards that are fabricated to each customer’s specifications,” says Bob Carlson, product manager.
CRL’s wall-mounted bulletin board cases ship fully assembled and ready for installation on any wall surface. They feature lockable doors with continuous hinges, making them ideal for municipal buildings, schools or commercial applications.
Available in satin anodized or bronze anodized finishes, the cases come with a choice of inserts—black cork with a self-healing surface, or a black letter board with letters and numerals.
The stock size hinged door bulletin board cases are available in single- or double-door configurations with locks. The single door model is 24 inches by 36 inches. Its universal design allows the case to be installed with the lockable door on either the right- or left-hand side. The double-door units are 47 inches by 36 inches. Both the single- and double-door units are glazed with 1⁄8-inch shatter-resistant acrylic.
Another new design: the CRL bottom-hinged bulletin board case with letter board, which features a light-weight acrylic door that opens from the top. The case size is 36 inches by 24 inches, and the unit comes with a black letter board, complete with white letters and numerals. Satin anodized and bronze anodized finishes are available, and the door includes a keyed lock.
CRL’s custom wall-mounted bulletin board cases come in satin anodized, bronze anodized and powder-coat frame finishes. Any RAL color or existing color sample can be matched. Custom cases are available with 3⁄16-inch tempered glass doors, include mounting hardware, and can be ordered in various sizes.
“All of these basic designs can be custom fabricated to suit the needs of the customer,” Carlson says. “Our customers will not only want to supply these to their contacts, but will probably need a few for their own facilities.”
