NSG Group The board of directors from Japan's NSG Group announced the following changes in senior management. Stuart Chambers became president and chief executive officer responsible for profitable operation of businesses within the group. He chairs an executive committee that oversees day-to-day management of the businesses. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. The company also appointed Yozo Izuhara as chairman of the board, and Katsuji Fujimoto as chairman. Izuhara, formerly chairman, is responsible for corporate governance. Fujimoto, previously president and chief executive officer, ensures implementation of long-term objectives and strategy, and guiding values and principles. He also supports communication with the financial community, shareholders, governments and other external organizations. YKK AP The board of directors at YKK AP America, Austell, Ga., named Mike Turner as vice president of marketing. He will manage the marketing department and retain previous responsibilities including engineering and technological resources. He started as assistant engineer in 1992 and became project manager, technical center design engineer, supervisor of technical planning, technical administration manager and director of technical services. Edgetech Officials from Edgetech I.G. of Cambridge, Ohio, appointed Bob Mecomonaco as product manager responsible for developing the Eco Coat Glass Protection System product line and providing customer assistance. Before Edgetech, he worked as national sales director for Lauren Manufacturing, New Philadelphia, Ohio. Dow Corning Officials from Dow Corning Corp. of Midland, Mich., promoted Doug Kempf as construction application engineering and technical services manager. He will lead the group responsible for technical activities supporting North American and South American construction markets. He held several marketing positions and served as Southwest regional Application Engineering and Technical Services resource within Dow Corning Construction Industry, and as an engineer at the company's Elizabethtown, Ky., facility. Pilkington North America JaneŽ Carpenter became a customer service representative for the Building Products Fire Protection Group, Pilkington North America, Toledo, Ohio. Her responsibilities include customer service and shipping fire-resistant and fire-protection glass products to North American customers. She has worked as an intern at the facility since January 2008. S.A. Bendheim Sue Adams joined S.A. Bendheim, Passaic, N.J., as a sales account manager. She will be responsible for sales of specialty glass products and Bendheim Wall Systems channel glass, and manage customer service relations with New York architects and designers. Previously, she was vice president of DIRTT, or Doing It Right This Time, sustainable wall sales at Lane Office, New York, for two years. Before that, she worked for 10 years in new account development and sales at Acme Architectural Walls, Brooklyn, N.Y. She has a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and communications from the University of Connecticut based in Storrs, Conn. NASG David Shaner joined North American Specialty Glass of Trumbauersville, Pa., as sales manager for the architectural security glazing product line including D-FenceGlas and VigilGard laminated transparencies. Before NASG, he worked as an independent representative selling architectural glass and metal products to commercial glazing contractors and for Insulgard, now Global Security Glazing, Selma, Ala., responsible for sales of architectural glass products that provide resistance to ballistic attacks and forced entry. SAF Howard Mount became production manager from project manager at Atlanta-based Southern Aluminum Finishing Co. He is responsible for metal fabricating operations including sheer, brake, turret, drill, sand and assembly. Before joining SAF, he worked for United States Aluminum Commercial Products Group, Waxahachie, Texas, and Kawneer North America, Norcross, Ga. Glass Source and Solutions Officials from Glass Source and Solutions Inc., headquartered in Sarasota, Fla., hired Victor Rozas as plant manager. He will be responsible for managing fabrication employees, production, quality control and lead times. He has 12 years experience in glass distribution and fabrication, and in-depth knowledge of the company's fabricating and tempering machines. He previously worked for Agi USA, Bradenton, Fla. Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Dale Fuhr joined consulting firm Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc., Houston, as associate principal. He has more than 36 years experience in the contract glazing industry. Previously southeast region operations manager at Permasteelisa North America Corp., headquartered in Windsor, Conn., Fuhr specializes in curtain wall, cladding, skylights and glazing system design. Wheaton and Sprague Mark Coulis joined Stow, Ohio-based Wheaton and Sprague Engineering as senior building envelope consultant for its Building Envelope Division. He previously worked for Curtain Wall Design and Consulting, Atlanta. He will assist clients with exterior cladding systems and design criteria by reviewing drawings for technical content, providing code consultation, and checking faade and fenestration systems for air- and water-tight integrity. Glasslam Officials from Glasslam, Pompano Beach, Fla., announced a new sales representative group that will cover North America for the company's Air-Tight spacer systems and laminated and decorative glass products. The company divided coverage as follows: Northeast and Eastern United States by T.J. Tirendi, Rich Karner, Joe Altieri, Bob Scherer and Larry Sink of Velocity Marketing, Stockton, N.J.; Midwest by Larry Czapla, Curt Pomerville, Ron Wilcox and Richard Beight of Systems and Components Group LLC, Kalamazoo, Mich.; South Central by Mark Stalnaker of Stalnaker Sales, Southaven, Miss.; Texas and Oklahoma by Chris Reid, Jim Reid and Pat McIntosh of ACD Enterprises, Dallas, Texas; Western U.S. and Mountain by Derek Miller, Jason Harrison, Eric Meyer, Jeff Churchill, Jeff Stewart, Tony Pearson and D.J. Strybuc Industries Ren Pierangeli became sales manager at Strybuc Industries, Sharon Hill, Pa., responsible for the company's sales team and corporate accounts. He has held several positions within the company and for the last six years served as Florida account manager. Morse Industries Officials from Morse Industries of Kent, Wash., promoted Tami St. John to inside sales manager from purchasing manager, and hired Angel Yeh as purchasing manager. St. John has been with the company for more than 17 years and has an extensive background in customer service. In addition to domestic and offshore procurement for the company's three warehouses, Yeh will continue the development and expansion of existing supplier networks. Before joining Morse, she served as purchasing manager for Ocean Alexander based in Taiwan, sourcing and exporting materials for the manufacture of luxury yachts. Belron US Gary Roeske became general manager of Safelite AutoGlass operations in the Chicago market. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations and growing sales and market share. Previously, as area operations manager of Auto Glass Specialists' Midwest division, he directed integration of operations following the 2007 Safelite acquisition. He has worked in the automotive industry since 1994. Zeledyne Michael J. McCarney joined Zeledyne as CEO. The privately held company in Allen Park, Mich., purchased Ford Motor Co.'s glass business in April. He worked at Ford for 30 years as president of Ford Southeast Asia and director of manufacturing operations, North American Truck. His objectives at Zeledyne are to diversify the customer base and increase research, product development and sales, according to the company Web site.
