The International Organization for Standardization has certified quality management systems of TechnoformGlass Insulation and Technoform Bautec to its ISO 9001:2008 standards, according to a Jan. 31 release. The certification formally recognizes the ability of each entity to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

In order to verify their compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards, the management systems were audited by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, an internationally recognized independent assessment organization.

“Technoform Glass Insulation and Technoform Bautec have embraced quality in every facet of their global operations since the companies were founded in 1969,” said Mark Silverberg, president of Technoform’s North American division, Twinsburg, Ohio, in the release. “ISO 9001:2008 is the benchmark standard for quality, so we are very pleased that our North American quality management systems have been certified to this high standard.”
