The U.S. contract glazing landscape

This year's group of Top 50 Glaziers represented all regions of the United States, with the Northeast having the highest concentration of company headquarters at 15. At the state level,
California hosted the most Top 50 Glaziers at eight, with New York following at six, according to the annual Glass Magazine survey. Businesswise, the Architecture Billings Index was up in all regions at press time, compared to a year ago. The American Institute of Architects, Washington, D.C., reported a March 2011 ABI score of 50.5, compared to 46.1 in March 2010. The Midwest region posted the highest number in March 2011, at 53.5. Any score above 50 indicates an aggregate increase in billings.
