The basics: The Vdara Hotel & Spa, part of the 67-acre Las Vegas CityCenter, features a sleek patterned glass façade, enclosing the crescent shaped building. Large, horizontal windows offer sweeping views of the city and mountains, and ample natural light. The 57-story, all-suite hotel with 1,495 rooms earned Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental design rating program, thanks in part to its high-performance, energy control glazing.
