Sponsored by Extractor. The top edge of the windshield is exposed and close to the wall of the pinchweld. The PAAS material might protect the wall if the cutout is done carefully. However, if salvage is the goal, it might require special cutout procedures or wire-out tools.

Sponsored by Extractor. The A-pillar moldings on this vehicle are clipped down and might have to be replaced. The top edge of the windshield is exposed and tight to the vehicle body; cutout without damage will be difficult. This vehicle has the option of a quarter glass with a built-in antenna that will require the removal of the interior molding to connect and disconnect.

The dealer glass comes bonded with two tabs at the base for attaching the glass to the regulator. Also note that the front edge of the luggage rack overlaps the edge of the windshield top molding.
