Despite the abysmal economy in the U.S. and abroad, glasstec ended on a successful note with more than 1,300 exhibitors and more than 55,000 visitors from across the world. According to early reports, more than 26,000 attendees hit the first day of the 2008 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Boston, and some exhibitors estimate that total attendance reached more than 28,000. Total attendance reached 22,835 in 2007.
