Asahi Glass agrees to supply automotive glass to Daimler

Asahi Glass Co. said Tuesday it has reached a long-term agreement to develop and supply its automotive glazing to German automaker Daimler AG.

Under the agreement signed on April 30, AGC Automotive, the automotive glass-making division of Asahi Glass, will supply its glass for use in Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and sport utility vehicles manufactured in Europe and the United States.
