The International Automotive Glass Federation will elect a new chairman during its next general meeting Feb. 20, as Freddy Grumstrup Sørensen, current chairman, leaves. In the interim, the two vice chairmen, Hisashi Ebina, president, Japan Automotive Glass Association, and Philip James, president and CEO, National Glass Association, McLean, Va., will temporarily take Sørensen's chair. IAGF started at the end of 2007. It focuses on technical standards and codes, training programs and health and safety issues. Its activities also will be visible in national and international competitions for auto glass technicians or fitters.
