NAGS parent merges with CCC Information Services
Officials at CCC Information Services, Chicago, and Mitchell International, the San Diego parent company of National Auto Glass Specifications, signed a definitive agreement to form a merger-of-equals transaction valued at $1.4 billion, according to a joint release April 11.
The combined enterprise, to be known as CCC-Mitchell, will provide information, workflow management systems and integrated software to insurance companies and collision repair facilities, according to the release. The new company will employ about 2,000 people and is expected to have annual sales of approximately $460 million.
