PPG Industries to sell controlling interest in auto glass business

PPG Industries Inc. said it has agreed to sell its automotive glass and services business to a new company formed by Kohlberg & Co. LLC for $330 million in cash proceeds plus a minority ownership interest of about 40 percent in the new company, according to a July 8 report from TradingMarkets.com.
