Saint-Gobain unit files suit over patents used for sunroofs
A unit of Cie. de Saint-Gobain SA, Europe’s biggest supplier of building materials, sued Pittsburgh Glass Works LLC, claiming infringement of three patents used for windshields, windows, and sunroofs.
Saint-Gobain Glass France claims closely-held Pittsburgh Glass is using its technology that insulates the glass products. In the suit filed yesterday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, Saint-Gobain is seeking an order stopping the infringement and for unspecified damages, according to a June 9 Bloomberg report.
