70 jobs go as Greenberg Glass Contracts battles for survival

Administrators of  the collapsed Liverpool [U.K.] firm Greenberg Glass Contracts say 70 people out of a workforce of 160 have lost their jobs as the battle continues to save the business.

The company, part of the Greenberg Glass Group, was placed into administration on Tuesday morning.

The firm, based at Wellington Business Park in the north of the city, supplies internal glazing to major commercial and retail developments around the U.K., according to an Oct. 29 Liverpool Daily Post report.
