AGC Glass Europe earns Cradle to Cradle label

AGC Glass Europe recently earned the Cradle to Cradle label for float glass and magnetron coatings, making it the first and only European glass producer to receive this honor, according to a Feb. 6 AGC release.

According to company officials, AGC products are made from widely available raw materials, such as sand, soda and dolomite. In addition, AGC incorporates 25 percent to 31percent recycled glass into the production of float glass as standard. Any waste products left after recycling are processed.
