Following Grey Mountain Partners' acquisition of Binswanger Enterprises earlier this month, David Draper was appointed COO at Binswanger Glass, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 70-location company. Arturo Carrillo, president and CEO, announced he would leave Binswanger to join Grey Mountain Partners, a Boulder, Colo., private equity firm.

“My goal during the last several months of my time with Binswanger was to steward the company into the hands of quality new ownership,” Carillo said, in a release. “Once I accomplished that with the tremendous people from Grey Mountain Partners, I reassessed my future and really wanted to be in a position where I could have a larger impact on the investment and acquisition sides of the business world. I am thankful that I can do that now with GMP.”

Prior to his appointment, Draper was Director of Strategic Planning at Robbins LLC, a Grey Mountain Partners affiliate company. He also held a supervisory role at the Owens Corning OEM Solutions Group for several years.

“I am thrilled to be joining a company with such a rich history," he said, in the release.  "With the recent acquisition by Grey Mountain, we have a tremendous opportunity to re-establish the Binswanger brand as the leader in the glass services business."
