Dayton T. Brown certified as Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance test facility
Dayton T. Brown, Inc., Bohemia, N.Y., has been certified by the U.S. Department of State as a Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance (FEBR) test facility, according to a release. By securing the necessary approval from the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the company can now evaluate the performance of architectural components and systems to meet rigorous guidelines for use in state facilities in the continental U.S. and abroad. FEBR testing is conducted on doors, windows, deal trays, hatches, panels, louvers and grilles. Among the 24/7 services offered to support FEBR, Dayton T. Brown employs an indoor 100-meter range, concentrated assault teams, and a full service ballistics laboratory.
