Emirates Glass triples production capacity

Emirates Glass, a subsidiary of Glass LLC, which is wholly owned by Dubai Investments PJSC, has installed a state-of-the-art coating line to meet increased global demand for energy-efficient architectural glass. The move is part of an AED 160 million investment under phase 1 of the company's expansion program.

With the installation of the multi-million dirham Terra-G sputter-coating line, the yearly capacity of Emirates Glass has tripled to more than 3.5 million square meters, according to a July 14 ArabianBusiness.com report.
