Gentoo purchases UK glass manufacturer Romag

Romag, a U.K. glass manufacturer that makes bullet- and blast-resistant glass, in addition to assembling  photovoltaic solar panels, has been sold to Sunderland-based people and property business Gentoo, according to an April 5 BBC report. The sale protected more than 160 at-risk jobs at the Leadgate-based company, the report states.
