Glass market for interior construction hurting

The glass market for interior construction cannot escape from the building industry crisis, according to a European study. After years of high growth rates, the market decreased by 6.4 percent in terms of quantity in 2009 and reached a turnover of 1.41 billion Euro in the top five countries: France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the U.K. Among these countries, the U.K. was hit the hardest, as the total market shrank by 7.2 percent, according to the latest market study by Interconnection Consulting, Vienna.
