Glass production, sales in Hungary higher than last year

The production of glass and glass products in Hungary in the first 10 months of this year was 13 percent higher than in the same period in 2007, according to a Dec. 12 report from Hungary’s Central Statistical Office. Glass and glass products manufacturers’ sales in the January to October period were 10.5 percent higher year-on-year, with an increase in sales of 10.6 percent on the domestic Hungarian market and 10.4 percent higher sales on export markets.
