Industry calls for improvements to Building Star

Officials at the National Glass Association, McLean, Va., put the association's name in support of a position paper, released by the Glass Association of North America, Topeka, Kan., calling for proposed improvements for commercial windows and glazing in the Building Star Energy Efficiency Rebate Act of 2010. The paper addresses the concerns of the glass and glazing industry regarding the proposed legislation, and is supported by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association, Schaumburg, Ill.; Aluminum Extruders Council, Wauconda, Ill.; and the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance, Ottawa.
