Kawneer appoints Norris McElroy plant manager for Visalia, Calif., facility

Officials from Kawneer Company, Inc. announced Oct. 25 that Norris McElroy has been appointed plant manager for the Visalia, Calif., operation. In this position, he will lead manufacturing and customer service personnel as they connect their efforts with the commercial organization to help drive benchmark customer service satisfaction levels for quality, service and communications, according to a company release.

McElroy's career with Kawneer parent company, Alcoa, and Kawneer has spanned decades and a wide geographical range, including management positions in Florida, Georgia and California. He served as general manager for the Alcoa Architectural Products plant in Eastman, Georgia, as well as general manager with Kawneer. As general manager Kawneer, he supervised facilities in Visalia, Calif.; Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Seattle, Wash.; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Kansas City, Mo.
