Kyocera to mass produce glass/touch panels for LCDs

Kyocera Corp. announced that it will begin mass producing glass/glass touch panels for liquid crystal displays this month, a move that fully engages the company in both the LCD and touch panel markets. Kyocera's new touch panels feature a unique glass/glass structure which provides superior visibility and durability compared with the film/glass structure of conventional LCD touch panels.
