Lee and Cates Glass VP arrested

The vice president of operations, an assistant manager and a former employee of a Jacksonville-based glass installation and repair company have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into thousands of fraudulent insurance claims.

Vice President Scott Cates of Lee and Cates Glass Inc., Assistant Manager David Williamson and former employee Jennifer Lamunyon Cribb were arrested Wednesday [Aug. 5] after a state investigation into allegations that four stores in Jacksonville overbilled numerous insurance companies, Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink and State Attorney Angela Corey said in a press release today, according to an Aug. 5 Jacksonville Business Journal report.
