Man hurt in skylight plunge

A man suffered a suspected broken pelvis after he fell 30 feet through a skylight.

Police said the 24-year-old crashed onto the basement floor of Hatters Hostel on Newton Street, Manchester city centre, around 11.45 p.m. yesterday, according to a Manchester Evening News report Aug. 6.
