Mid-Atlantic Glass Association founding member dies

Gail Strippy, a stalwart industry representative and one of the founding members of the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association, Buckeystown, Md., has passed away, according to a July 2 release.

A memorial service will take place July 6 at 1 p.m. at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 6030 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda, Md.

Strippy held numerous positions in the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association, and pioneered the effective role now played by many women in the industry.
