New law limits LEED for DoD projects

The National Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Obama Dec. 31, bars the Department of Defense from using any money to certify its buildings to Gold or Platinum certifications in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, according to a Jan. 3 article from Federal Times.
