Nippon Sheet Glass posts 41 percent drop

Nippon Sheet Glass Co. said Monday that group net profit declined 41 percent on the year to 27.8 billion yen ($253.1 million) for the three months ended June 30, as its margins deteriorated at home and abroad because of the global economic slowdown and higher crude oil prices, according to a TradingMarkets.com report Aug. 11.
