NSG appoints new president, Building Products Worldwide

The NSG Group announced the appointment of Clemens Miller as president, Building Products Worldwide. In this role, he will be responsible for all matters relating to the operation and performance of the NSG Group's global Building Products business, according to an April 27 release. He succeeds Mark Lyons, who has been appointed CFO for NSG Group. Lyons will be  responsible for all aspects of the group's finance function, including corporate, operational and business line finance. Mark and Clemens will begin a transition period immediately, with an effective date for handover of responsibilities of June 29.

A German citizen, Clemens will be based in Germany. He joined Pilkington in 1992 from the steel industry. He has managed the Group's Fire Protection and Solar Energy businesses and was appointed managing director, Building Products Europe, in 2007. Since April 2010, he has been vice president of Commercial and Solar Energy Products.
