Oldcastle changes name

Oldcastle Glass, Santa Monica, Calif., changed its name to Oldcastle Building Envelope, according to a June 1 release. The name change is indicative of the company's services. "Goodbye individual components; instead, we design, engineer, test and manufacture custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass as one unit," the release states. Construction and design professionals are asking for better buildings, a simplified process, less risk and fewer delays. "And that is exactly what we've done," officials say in the release.
