Project news: Glass installation complete at San Diego airport expansion

Officials from Heinaman Contract Glazing announced the company completed the glazing installation on the San Diego Airport Terminal Expansion project. The $1 billion expansion of Terminal 2 at Lindbergh Field features 1,900 pieces of glass in a complex outwardly ranked 15-degree steel truss curtain wall, designed to meet seismic requirements, according to Heinaman officials.

The new terminal is scheduled to open in August, according to a feature article about the glass installation from Fox5 San Diego.
