A new church in Canada's Saskatoon is using high-tech solar panels alongside traditional stained glass. Artist Sarah Hall said blending modern solar panels with more traditional stained glass builds on familiar Bible themes, according to a Dec. 17 CBC News article.

The cathedral cost more than $28 million and is the first in the world, Hall said, to incorporate solar panels in the art glass, according to the article.
