Remodeling activity reaches record levels

Despite a slow economy and lagging home sales, remodeling activity remains a bright spot, with June 2011 reaching record levels of activity in the BuildFax Remodeling Index, according to an Aug. 15 release from BuildFax. The BFRI for June showed month-over-month gains in remodeling activity for most regions of the country.
