Shard of Glass to start its ascent

Building Europe's tallest skyscraper will begin next month after the multimillion pound construction contract was signed today.

The massive £2 billion Shard of Glass complex at London Bridge station will contain offices, hotel, flats, shops and leisure facilities, according to a Feb. 24 Evening Standard report.
