Southwall announces 2010 second quarter results

Southwall Technologies Inc., Palo Alto, Calif., announced second quarter 2010 revenue of $11.8 million, an increase of 42 percent from second quarter 2009 revenues of $8.3 million, and up approximately 13 percent from first quarter 2010 revenues of $10.5 million. Revenues for the six month period ended June 30, 2010 were $22.3 million, an increase of 51 percent compared to $14.8 for the six months ended June 30, 2009. The year-over-year increase reflects the improving economy and increasing demand for higher energy efficiency products across our primary markets, according to an Aug. 20 Market Watch report.
