Taiwan Glass shares rise of speculation it may get AU orders

Taiwan Glass Industrial Corp. shares surged the most in more than a month on speculation it may get AU Optronics orders, said Randy Chang, a trader at KGI Securities Co.

Taiwan Glass climbed by 6.9 percent daily limit, the biggest advance since Jan. 6, to NT$28.60 as of 10:13 a.m. in Taipei trading, while Taiex index advanced 1.9 percent, according to a Feb. 21 Bloomberg BusinessWeek report..
