Ten-storey RMIT campus to change face of Swanston Street

A striking new 10-storey RMIT University [Melbourne, Australia] campus covered in scale-like sun shades with an overhanging glass room is set to change the northern face of Swanston Street.

The university today unveiled plans for the $200 million building that will create 800 construction jobs and compete for attention with RMIT's daringly designed and architecturally renowned Storey Hall, according to a March 18 report in The Age.
