U.S. architecture billings highest since 2007
In November, the U.S. architecture billings index, a leading indicator of nonresidential construction activity, reached its highest level since December 2007, the American Institute of Architects said Wednesday [Dec. 22].
Its index rose more than 3 points from October to a reading of 52 for November, marking only the second time in 2010 the index crossed the 50 mark, indicating expansion.
