Ohio governor tours renovated Quanex Cambridge facility
Ohio Governor John R. Kasich toured the recently renovated Quanex Building Products facility in Cambridge, Ohio, where he gave a brief address to Quanex employees, Sept. 21.
Over the past six months, Quanex has added 150 new jobs at the facility, which is the central hub for its insulating glass spacer production. Recent renovations to the 417,000-square-foot Cambridge facility include a transformation of the plant floor to optimize efficiencies and double the company’s production output. The entry now also has a new look with an LED-lit globe signifying Quanex’s global presence, composite flooring and branded stone walkway leading into the entrance. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a new Customer Experience Center featuring a video wall, product samples and a meeting space overlooking the research and development area, according to a company release.
