Bohle America workshop coming up
Bohle will host seminars on glass cutting and glass bonding in Charlotte, N.C., between May 11 and 16 to transfer its know-how to its customers in America, according to a March 5 company release.
At the end of February more than a dozen glaziers came to the headquarters of Bohle America Inc. in Charlotte to learn new techniques and technologies in glass cutting and glass bonding and to expand their business potential. Frank Ruzicka, a master glazier who has been with Bohle since 1984, instructed the two-day workshop. "Big Frank," known to many from the last GlassBuild America: the Glass, Window & Door Expo, shared with the group his professional knowledge gained from more than 30 years of experience working with glass. Other than theoretical information, the workshop focused on practical application of what had been learned. Attendees spent both days cutting thick glass and bonding CD stands, among other things, according to the release.
