Enterprise Glass still shiny after all these years

Enterprise Glass Inc. is looking great for its age.

The Mokena [Ill.] glass company's store features a bright, tidy showroom lined with modern etched glass and shower doors. But a glance at relics on the walls reveals a different Enterprise Glass--the one that started in Chicago nearly a century ago. Black-and-white photos of Enterprise's first shop, at 6215 Aberdeen St., dot one wall, and a weathered "Enterprise Glass Co." sign hangs above the counter, according to an April 20 report in The Herald News.
