Japan's Nippon Sheet Glass, parent of Pilkington, announced a pre-tax profit of $44.5 million for the year to March, after losing more than $820 million in 2009 and 2010. according to a May 13 article in the Liverpool Daily Post. The Zeledyne LLC glass plant in Tulsa will likely shut down this summer if a buyer isn't found, according to a May 11 article from TulsaWorld.
