The Construction and Administration Bureau of Xiamen, China, plans to introduce new rules to standardize and restrict the use of glass curtain walls in new buildings, according to a report from Xiamen News. The bureau also will require builders and property owners to conduct safety checks and repairs on curtain-wall projects located within the city limits that are more than 10 years old.
