Enhanced bare metal primer

Dow Automotive Systems, Auburn Hills, Mich., has improved the performance of its BetaPrime 5201 Bare Metal Primer, reducing drying time from 30 minutes to 15 minutes. Designed for windshield-area corrosion treatments of large areas of bare metal, the enhanced primer is  the fastest AGRSS-compliant corrosion treatment primer in the aftermarket industry, and the only one that requires just one layer to re-establish a structural bond with the original factory e-coating, according to a release.
