VIN etching

The M5150 portable grit etching machine from Marvel Marketing Products, Pittsburgh, etches vehicle identification numbers into automotive glass.  The wide gun opening etches all 17 characters of the VIN, according to a company release.  The 5150 model comes complete with a set of 1/4-inch high rubber numbers and letters that technicians can insert into the fixture mounted on the gun head.  In only minutes, they can etch all of the windows on a car using this system, the release states.
