Windshield Repair

The Prism dry vacuum injector from Glass Technology, Durange, Colo., has received patent status.  The repair system extracts air from the break prior to injecting resin into the windshield damage, resulting in a more effective and complete air extraction, according to a release.  After extracting the air, the system injects resin into the break with little pressure, allowing the resin to fill the repair entirely and create stronger adhesion, company officials say.
