NX-3000

Traco, Cranberry Township, Pa., added the NX-3000 casement window series to its NX architectural aluminum product line. The series features a 3¼-inch frame and is available in AW-C80 casement, AW-AP80 projected and AW-FW80 fixed units, all with 1-inch insulating glass and white bronze cam handles. Suitable for schools, offices and multifamily applications, the NX-3000 series contains the company’s NexGen thermal barrier system providing up to 50 percent better thermal insulation than PVC or polyurethane and the NexGen energy spacer, reducing U values in standard insulating glass units up to 15 percent when compared to conventional units with a metallic spacer, according to a company release.
